The Beginning of the End: A Call to Prayer and RepentanceRevelation 8 This week's sermon took us into Revelation chapter 8, exploring "The Beginning of the End" as we examined the opening of the seventh seal and the first four trumpet judgments. We were reminded that God has spoken—and continues to speak—through creation, His Word, and ultimately through His Son, Jesus Christ. The question isn't whether God is speaking, but whether we are listening. As we looked at the devastating judgments described in Revelation, we were confronted with the sobering reality of what awaits those who remain in rebellion against God. Yet even in these warnings, we see God's mercy—His desire to awaken people spiritually before it's too late. This passage calls us not to fear, but to lament, repent, witness, rejoice, and above all, pray. Takeaways:
As we approach this Thursday's National Day of Prayer, let's commit to earnest, focused intercession for our families, our nation, and our world. Join us at noon here at Grace if you're able, or set aside time wherever you are to cry out to God for mercy and awakening. May we be people who listen to God's voice and respond with hearts fully surrendered to Him.
